OUR STORY

A tribute to my mother.

They say you can tell a great deal about a woman by the way she carries her history. For me, that history begins with the grace of the 1960s and 1970s, our golden era - and the woman who embodied it best; my mother.

MISAN is my tribute to her.

She believed in “perfect dressing”; not perfection for its own sake, but the quiet confidence that comes from care. Every detail was deliberate. Every silhouette had purpose. From her, I learned that true elegance never needs to announce itself.

That philosophy guides MISAN today. At the design table, I return to the poise, substance and respect for craft that defined her world, then reinterpret those qualities for the way women live now.

Our pieces are created in small batches, they bring together enduring South Asian techniques, considered fabrics and silhouettes made for movement, ease and longevity.

MISAN is for the woman who values a well-cut garment, notices the beauty in thoughtful detail and understands that elegance is a quiet, powerful language of its own.

Rooted in memory. Made for now.
